![]() If you’ve been following the development of FUJIFILM’s cameras, I’m sure you have noticed that something very interesting is happening. Interested in finding out more? A bit of History ![]() The X-T3 is the BEST camera FUJIFILM have ever presented, when it comes to video performance. If you are short of time, let me start with my conclusion. We were lucky enough to get our hands on a production model to check its video capabilities. If I’m not mistaken, it is the first APS-C sensor size mirrorless camera that records in 10-Bit internally. ![]() Hot on the heels of Canon’s EOS R announcement, FUJIFILM have just announced their new camera, the X-T3. keyboard_arrow_rightCameras of the Year.keyboard_arrow_rightGear Guides by Type.keyboard_arrow_rightGear Guides by Budget.I believe that good composition and good storytelling will always outweigh the so-called “noise issue”. Their lens selection covers all that I need from the 24mm(16mm) through the 135mm(90mm).Īh! the noise thing: I will put it like this: I am a pixel peeper, I hate to see imperfections in my images, but I don’t count noise as one of them(Granted the Sony A7III and even more the D750 surpassed the X-T3 in noise performance, not by much though). Color science is pretty good, easier to grade than the really flat Sony colors (which is not a bad thing in itself, it just takes longer time) or the always greenish skin tone of the Nikon(Cannot talk about Canon never used them professionally).Īnd the last two things that make this camera a real winner are the lens ecosystem and the timely software updates, the latter makes you feel cared for by the manufacturer and that any advance in technology that they achieved is most likely to be passed to your device without the need to buy a new camera and the former is maybe my favorite thing, many times I have been using other camera brands and find myself wishing that I was using my Fuji glass(this is where Sony lost it for me, you need to spend many times almost twice more money on their glass to get the same performance that Fuji glass provide). The ergonomics of the A7III are let's say different(by that I mean that my pinky is in the air the whole time, though I got used to it, I am not happy about it) and those menus are not the best in the market, granted the A7III delivers a lot, but for me the X-T3 ergonomics makes me feel like Gollum(LOR reference) with his ring, I am always longing for it and trying to get my hands on it, I just enjoy so much to use this camera(I know this is an intangible), I don’t need to think of technical things but just shoot with it because I don’t have to go through a bunch of settings or configurations to control the basics of the camera (Granted almost every modern camera can be customized to do whatever you want, but this camera is ready to shoot from the get-go ). Even though the ergonomics of the D750 are great Nikon menus are not intuitive, granted I did customize it and made it work for me. st and accurate(even in really low light situations I put it side by side to my Sony A7III and Fuji X-T2, it matched the Sony in accuracy and surpassed the X-T2 by a lot) never find myself missing shots in music events or while tracking fast moving subjects. I have used the X-T3 for about a month now and I can say that this little camera packs a lot of punch for the money, the AF is pretty fa. ![]() ![]() To give you a little background where I come from I formerly used the Nikon D750(awesome camera cost-benefit) and the Sony A 7III(pretty good camera), also have owned the X-T1 and the X-T2. In my line of work, I do care mainly about five things: Autofocus speed, ease of use, reliability, color science and noise performance. ![]()
